The company powers insurance processing by leveraging people & technology, supporting insurance organizations as they sell, and delivering & managing policies and customers.
In addition to process automation and account management services, Patra is a leader in applying technology to insurance applications.
The company was looking for a technological partner to develop an online web platform where brokers can register themselves and form teams to provide personalized insurance brochures to their respective clients.
After understanding the client’s requirement, we developed the following solution:
Proper planning and research were carried out to assess and evaluate the web application’s required functionalities and architecture
A fully customizable web application was developed for Patra administration, registered brokers, and their clients
An intuitive and easy-to-use UI was designed to enhance the user experience
HTML DOM structure was used to represent UI in the database as opposed to object hierarchy to make UI rendering faster
Stored procedures were used for fast query processing
A personalized brochure feature was integrated to build the insurance brochure according to the requirements of the client
Quick link buttons were integrated into the application for creating a new brochure, requesting printing for mailing purposes, and submitting a support ticket
Features such as easy navigation and management were implemented for updating users’ profiles or passwords
With the help of Jellyfish Technologies, Patra Corporation launched their new product Patra BBS (Benefit Brochure Service) in the market. This online platform helped Patra Corporation increase its client engagement by offering personalized insurance brochures to registered brokers and their clients.
